Toy Drive and Christmas Party

Posted on Dec 3 2014 - 5:05pm

Monday, December 15th is Troop 301's annual Holiday Party & Toy Drive.
Each patrol is requested to bring either desserts (fingerfood only, please!) or drinks:
Desserts to serve 12: Artic Wolves, Cavemen, Pumas/TNT & Yetis
Drinks to serve 12: Bobcats, Honey Badgers & Vipers
Also, The Belmont Fire Department will visit us with a fire truck to give us some helpful holiday safety tips. Each scout is invited to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the drive. The Fire Department will collect the donated toys and give them to kids here in Belmont.
Toys are needed most for children in the 1st through 6th grades. (Toys related to sports such as balls are always appreciated). For families with older siblings, gift cards (for places like Target, Toys R Us, Best Buy) are great.
The Fire Department recommends: dolls, puzzles, board games, toy trucks/cars and action figures.   (All toys are appreciated, but please no battery-operated toys, electronic games or DVD's)
Do not wrap gifts!
To have some fun with your fellow scouts at the party, please also bring your own favorite board games & playing cards!
Thank you & Happy Holidays!

Let me know that you got this as I have found email isn't always the best way to communicate anymore.
