Welcome To the Troop 301 Webpage! BSA Troop 301 is chartered through the San Carlos Kiwanis. Our troop meetings are held at the Tierra Linda Middle School in San Carlos, CA.  We are in the Redwood District of the Pacific Skyline Council.

We have approximately 30 Scouts in our Troop and we meet about three Mondays a month at 7:30pm at Tierra Linda Middle School on 750 Dartmouth Ave., San Carlos. We have at least one outing scheduled for every month. Our outdoor program has an emphasis on variety and includes; backpacking, rock climbing, day hikes, winter camping, deep snow camping, snowboarding & skiing, whitewater rafting, sea kayaking, summer camps, 50-miler treks and Philmont treks. Our Troop 301 Mission Statement is: As a Boy Scout Troop we will:

  1. Strive to follow the Scout Oath, Law, and Motto in our daily lives.
  2. Emphasize a boy led program with a variety of outdoor activities.
  3. Promote youth self-sufficiency in the wilderness and at home.
  4. Produce confident leaders who can lead by example.

Eagle Project Help Needed This Weekend!!

Move dirt and mulch at Carlmont High School, above the C Hall (see attached map)
Saturday and Sunday, January 27th and 28th
12p.m. until about 3p.m.
If you have them, please bring shovels. Food and drink will be provided.

Spencer Andersen Eagle Project

To all scouts, who are helping with Spencer Andersen’s Eagle Project, we are in need of shovels, steel-tined rakes, regular rakes, and pick axes. If you have them, it would be much appreciated if you could bring them. Also in accordance with our new sustainability program please bring reusable gloves (work gloves) and water bottles, they can be filled as needed at the school. Spencer Anderson Eagle Project

Spencer Anderson is currently working on his Eagle Project. He is going to be building a garden at a school in Burlingame, 818 Mahler Rd., and he will be working on it on the weekends of the 20th and 21st and 27th and 28th of January as well as the 3rd of February. We will start at 10:00am and will most likely finish at 5:00pm. If people know that they can make it to help, it will be much appreciated if they could RSVP on the troop website, however if they just drop by, that would be appreciated too.
